The community

Canyon Creek sits on the south shore of Lake Granbury, about ten minutes from the Granbury square and just over an hour from Fort Worth. Entry is through a staffed guard gate; a valid driver's license is required.

Living here

Gate: Staffed 24 hours. Guests are admitted from the owner's guest list (GateAccess.net / ABDi, community code CCTX) or by calling the gate at (817) 573-4561. Contractor gate hours: Mon–Fri 7 am–7 pm, Sat 9 am–4 pm.
Water & sewer: Aqua Texas, (877) 987-2782. The POA does not operate the water or wastewater systems.
Electric: United Cooperative Services, (817) 326-5232.
Trash: Republic Services, (800) 644-3961. Hood County Collection Station, (817) 579-3288.
